The brush softness is important for these particular tires. I picked up a similar looking one from Walmart but it was too stiff. You need one that's fairly soft and dense.

Also, I use this stuff and am fairly happy with it. Been through a ton of different dressings.

These types of user tips saves others slot of “discover“ time. Much appreciate.

Todd: Grabbed a couple photos yesterday after applying Perl. The first one is Perl (diluted) after about 15 minutes but not wiped off. The second is wiped off and that is my preference. I just want the tire to look new and not attract dirt.

If I could get this look with "Blackout,) and have a completely dry tire that would hold up perfectly for six months, I would definitely give it a try. BUT, that's a TALL order.

Looks great, I love the last sipped off look. I have Pearl, I don’t find it last that long using the 50/50 water diluted. But good idea going full strength with a wipe off probably will last longer too

Update on my CarPro “Blackout” “CAUTION” WARNING”! So yesterday I went to my local cars and coffee and on the way back on this one long stretch of road after about hitting 40 miles an hour I typically “gun it” fir a short distance in Track mode and never had any problems with wheel spinning or breaking loose. Assuming I can get this video to work properly, you can see here my wheels broke loose, and I almost sideswiped the SUV next to me and barely corrected the car. When I got home I looked at the tires and I noticed that particularly on the rear tires when I was applying the car pro I must’ve gone into the tread so I believe this is what caused the wheels to break loose. I will be scrubbing and cleaning the area where it bleed over to the tread. Just wanted to make sure everybody is aware of this.

well, I can’t figure out how to upload my video

Todd you need to host it on a site like Youtube and post a link.

Here’s the front and rear view. Watching the video doesn’t articulate how close I came to losing control and hitting the SUV. Felt badly if I frighten the driver. That’s my buddy in he
is new vet behind me

There might have been a few curse words towards you from the SUV driver

It will be interesting to find if cleaning the tires will make a difference.
Can your dashcam display mph instead of km? Just curious.
It’s hard to see, but it’s in the lower left hand corner it shows 85 km, so roughly 52, now that I’ve read that it’s even more shocking of the wheels broke loose. I thought I was going about 40.

That stuff is slippery for sure and I'd bet money that's why they broke loose, Todd.

As Chris mentioned, you need a host, either your own server or pay for someone else's. That is how YooToob et all work except in those places, the ads pay for the hosting, not you. Starting a channel is a bit of a PITA so getting a youngin' to duit is excellent advice. He/she can then show you how to upload from then on.

Damn Todd! That’s a bit of excitement! Glad you got off throttle quickly. What was the outside temp at that time?

FYI, connect your phone to your dash cam and go into the settings. You can change the readout from kilometers to miles.

Good control backing off the throttle and not making it worse. I’m guessing that SUV driver had a new pair of Haines on their next stop 🤣

The tire dressing might have had zero impact. It could have all been the cold temps and road surface.

Also what mode were you in? Even PS4s suck at 50 degrees. Remove any of the digital nannies and the car can quickly get away from you.
