One thing to be careful of is the ability of the stripes to adhere well if there is already ceramic on the car. May want to speak to your detailer and vinyl installer before you make any purchases.

I think he said he had just pulled off a wrap on the car. My car had PPF with ceramic coat and my stripes had no issues adhering to that surface. In fact the first stripe kit I put on was a PITA to get off. There was absolutely no damage to any surface on the car where the old stripes were. 3M vinyl is pretty amazing stuff.

Now for color. Gold does look nice but they will think your car is a Hertz car and not a GT500. Matt Black would be my choice but you have to be careful not to get wax on some of them. I do like the car without strips. Maybe side strips would look hot.

Rocker stripes only would be a good look on a black car, especially a convertible.

I recently changed to grabber blue. The maroon looked good from some angles and was almost completely invisible at other times, particularly low light. It wasn't "loud" enough for the Shelby IMO. I really like the grabber blue. These aren't great photos. I have not done a proper photo shoot with the new stripes yet.

I like orange. I put orange racing stripes and a black GT; turned heads everywhere got lots of compliments on it.

I went with Orange on my 2017 GT, Shelby America does it to, Orange looks good on black sporty cars, plus its different from the status Quo.

RED is the color you can find a picture on internet at one year you could order black with red strips

The best thing about black is ANY color goes with it. You want pink, it works. You want chrome purple, it works. You literally have every color at your disposal. Personally I would do something unique to stand out from the common colors found on black cars.

Gold does look sharp on black. I’m also a fan of super dark red… like a burgundy. Then carry the color onto the brake calipers.

I’m partial to the matte stripes. Plus if you have a stripe delete car and add different color stripes you would not have the matching seat stripes, but that’s just me.

Subtle yes, but noticeable for sure.......

Reminds me of this picture taken at Shelby, but in White...........White w/Matte White stripes, Subtle, but cool!!!

Btw you can also do PPF stripes in color and patterns. STEK has multiple colors to include forged look, carbon weave, multiple colors, plus matte black and gloss black. Imagine a matte black GT500 with gloss black stripes…that hasn’t been done that I’m aware of. And these are all PPFs, not regular vinyl.
