What color stripes go better with black?

My 2011 Shelby GT500 was covered in wrap when I bought it. Took the wrap off did the ceramic coating and the car looks beautiful. The car is black with deleted stripes. If I decide to add stripes which color looks best on black car?
Thanks

Gold does look sharp on black. I’m also a fan of super dark red… like a burgundy. Then carry the color onto the brake calipers.

There was a member here awhile back that had super dark red on black… they were almost ghosted. It looked sharp!

Convertibles didn't have strips from the factory. I think is would cost about 2-3 grand to stripe your car. Paint would be much higher.

Stripes were definitely an option on convertibles. There's some factory build statistics that show counts for various color combinations that were built. And you can stripe your own car very cheaply (I've done it twice). You can get a complete stripe kit from Big Worm Graphics for less than $400. I made a few minor mistakes doing it myself. You can get a professional shop to do it too but I'm sure it won't be $2000.

What year is your car. Please put it under your screen name so we don’t have to keep scrolling to find it. Different options were available on different years.

I’m partial to the matte stripes. Plus if you have a stripe delete car and add different color stripes you would not have the matching seat stripes, but that’s just me.

Seats without the insert gives you more flexibility with the color of stripes on the car. I really am not a fan of the color inserts in the seats. Besides there are other ways to color match the interior

I think he said he had just pulled off a wrap on the car. My car had PPF with ceramic coat and my stripes had no issues adhering to that surface. In fact the first stripe kit I put on was a PITA to get off. There was absolutely no damage to any surface on the car where the old stripes were. 3M vinyl is pretty amazing stuff.

I just looked it up and I was wrong. You could get strips on a vert in 2011.
Damn I hate being wrong.
Now for color. Gold does look nice but they will think your car is a Hertz car and not a GT500. Matt Black would be my choice but you have to be careful not to get wax on some of them. I do like the car without strips. Maybe side strips would look hot.

Rocker stripes only would be a good look on a black car, especially a convertible.

I went with Orange on my 2017 GT, Shelby America does it to, Orange looks good on black sporty cars, plus its different from the status Quo.;)

The best thing about black is ANY color goes with it. You want pink, it works. You want chrome purple, it works. You literally have every color at your disposal. Personally I would do something unique to stand out from the common colors found on black cars.

Orange, lime green, grabber blue, silver w/bright pins, are a few that would really pop.

NOT PINK
You are going to spend all this money and time to install them. Don't make a mistake here. You will have to live with it or do it all over again and stripes are not easy to do.

Btw you can also do PPF stripes in color and patterns. STEK has multiple colors to include forged look, carbon weave, multiple colors, plus matte black and gloss black. Imagine a matte black GT500 with gloss black stripes…that hasn’t been done that I’m aware of. And these are all PPFs, not regular vinyl.

You know what is a combo you don't see often that looks fairly good? Black with some green in it. The Jets have an alternate jersey color that they use like once a year and with the metallic helmets, I think it would look pretty damn good. Or maybe even a dark metallic grey. Outside of Tuxedo black, Ford Black is just a wee bit boring, so something with a bit of metallic in it, I think would pop a bit, even if it is a metallic vinyl stripe.
