I agree, but I'd say the "robbing" started when he paid $82K for a car that stickered well-under than $70K. (~$15K ADM?)

No comment on asking price, as we allow the market to speak and sitting location to be determined...

Wishing him the best with the sale.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when I post something for sale anywhere and everyone feels it is their obligation to explain why my price is too high and what I should sell it for. If you'd like to buy it, make an offer. If not, please sit back and watch the show.

Ok first of all the the engine was built from a personal friend of Carroll Shelby at the speedway and he made it capable of 1500HP I just haven't upgraded the supercharger yet and if you want to test my car then let's go break 220mph then come run your mouth. And the asking price is 85,000 period. I did it the right way. I built the base engine first and then did the outside last. Too many people do looks over performance first then end up with a blown engine. I know the capacity of my car and it will beat any car on the road right now. It runs 9 seconds flat so shut up with all this BS of how the price is too high. If you knew anything about engines then you know you build up the engine first then go to the supercharger then the looks not the other way around. Do your research

A 9 second 1/4 mile, 220 mph capable, Fully Built, asphalt destroying Snake that WILL beat ANY car on the road RIGHT NOW is definetely worth the price you are asking.;)

Good luck with the sale.

You may not agree with the seller's price, but please allow him to post an ad without getting heckled on his asking price.

The market will speak to him. If his price is reasonable, it will sell. If his price is totally out of whack, he will sit on it.
Absolutely true!

if you want to test my car then let's go break 220mph then come run your mouth. And the asking price is 85,000 period.

Regrettably, no member of this forum will purchase your car at that price. This is not a critique, just a simple statement of fact.

Furthermore your claims of "220mph" and "9 sec flat" need to be substantiated. Without proof, (time slips help) then it is pure fiction.
We know what it takes to run north of 200 mph and to even run a 9.6x ET in these cars takes more hp and suspension work than what this car possesses.

You have a nice car but it will NOT beat ANY car on the road right now.

Feel free to continue to attempt to sell it at that price.
It will not sell for that on this forum.

I wish you the best.
For future posts, I would suggest the following: less ego, more facts and be open to accepting there are people whom are more knowledgeable than yourself.
And many reside on this forum.

Well, this went off course. That said, I agree with most whom have posted. 9 flat and 220 kudos my man. But this group knows better. I'm ok with your price point as it's your call. Numbers for perf, well now your in deeper water. Read the forum, learn the knowledge base and proceed with your add from there. GLWS, but may wish to tune down the "numbers"

Looks like the OP has opened this up for some knowledge input. First, according to your invoice you melted down your original numbers matching motor as it includes a new block which directly translate to vehicle value. Two, at your power levels the gearing required to run in the 9's won't be capable of breaking 200mph. Three, your car doesn't have the suspension nor the tire setup to run in the 9's unless you've left those mods off of your list. Four, these cars are not cobra's, they're simply GT500's. And finally number five, there's nothing legendary about your car and build, there are many 13/14's running equal rwhp without a built motor.

You're going to find out very quickly how knowledgeable and smart the members are here. Making lofty claims of top speed and 1/4 mile times should be backed up with proof if you want most here to take you seriously. As it's already been suggested, a little less ego will go along way.

I'm getting my popcorn ready to sit back and watch this unravel.

A car is worth what a buyer is willing to pay.
The seller will never get back what they spent to do the build.
Totally agree

I Had a paragraph written... but after careful consideration I had to revert back to the wisdom filled words of the super moderator....

(The market will "speak" to the seller.)

That's really says it all! If the OP is committed to sell, reality will eventually prevail and set the sell price. Which we will most likely not be privy to.

Every seller (myself included ) Gets an attachment and thinks they have a unique item, Its only worth what someone will pay.
