2014 GT500 Shelby Cobra With 909 Horsepower For Sale!
Custom Cams, Custom Pistons, coated barings, Carrillo rods, American Racing 1 7/8 Long Tube Headers, MRT 500 Interceptor Exhaust, Throttle Body, Pulley, Intake, New Block (only 2500 miles on the rebuilt engine) Drag Radials, Shelby Wheels, Spec SS-Twin Disk Clutch. All Engine work was done by HBR (Heads By Rick) Racing at the Speedway in Las Vegas. Top Speed I have reached in this car with the new rebuilt engine is 214MPH. Horsepower to the wheel is 773, Overall horsepower is 910 with 774lb’s of torque. Professional tune from Hot Rods and Horsepower in las vegas. This car is a beast but it is just too much for me to use as a daily driver since it has so much power. 41,000 miles on the car and 2500 miles on rebuilt custom engine and clutch. Asking price is $90,000 OBO that is close to that number. Overall the car is worth 125,000 since the engine alone cost 33,000 to build. Text or Call 702-521-9647 and ask for TJ if interested. Only serious buyers!!!! Not many cars can beat 214MPH without a Turbo so this is truly a legendary Shelby GT500 Cobra.

Additional parts included with the car for free is a Borla Atak Exhaust system with chrome tips ($800 retail price) that I switched out to the current MRT interceptor exhaust I have on it right now.
Also Included is a brand new still in the box Clutch system just in case of any future clutch blowouts since it is 909 horsepower. Retail $1300 MCLEOD RXT MODULAR TWIN DISC 1000HP CLUTCH

Hello and welcome TJ.

A couple questions for you...

Is this in fact your person car?
How did you get 41,000 miles on a 2014?
Finally, would you like me to move your ad to the Cars For Sale section.

Sorry your first post here is a for sale ad. It's a great forum.

yes can you move my post to cars for sale section, thank you and the asking price is not too loony when it generates 910HP and can get up to 220 mph without trouble, and i got the car August of 2013 so I have had it for a year and a half but it is my daily driver so it has 41,000 miles on it but only 3000 miles on the new engine. Not many cars reach the 200mph club without a turbo or being an exotic. bought the car for $82,000 plus tax back in 2013 and have put more than just $33,000 into it since then, probably around $43,000. so lets say you take $12,000 off for a used car so your at $70,000 with $43,000 put into it along with a $1300 new clutch that is separate and a Borla exhaust also included would make the car's worth around $115,000 and will probably get only $80-90,000 out of it is how I look at it. The $95,000 price is there because of negotiation purposes. Just letting everyone know why The price is what it is.

Guys, please don't question a seller on their asking price in their ad (even if you think the price is total-loony).

Let the seller ask whatever price they want without judgement from members. If a seller asks for price feedback, please give it.

The market will "speak" to the seller.

I agree, but I'd say the "robbing" started when he paid $82K for a car that stickered well-under than $70K. (~$15K ADM?)

No comment on asking price, as we allow the market to speak and sitting location to be determined...

Guys,

You may not agree with the seller's price, but please allow him to post an ad without getting heckled on his asking price.

The market will speak to him. If his price is reasonable, it will sell. If his price is totally out of whack, he will sit on it.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when I post something for sale anywhere and everyone feels it is their obligation to explain why my price is too high and what I should sell it for. If you'd like to buy it, make an offer. If not, please sit back and watch the show.

Ok first of all the the engine was built from a personal friend of Carroll Shelby at the speedway and he made it capable of 1500HP I just haven't upgraded the supercharger yet and if you want to test my car then let's go break 220mph then come run your mouth. And the asking price is 85,000 period. I did it the right way. I built the base engine first and then did the outside last. Too many people do looks over performance first then end up with a blown engine. I know the capacity of my car and it will beat any car on the road right now. It runs 9 seconds flat so shut up with all this BS of how the price is too high. If you knew anything about engines then you know you build up the engine first then go to the supercharger then the looks not the other way around. Do your research

A 9 second 1/4 mile, 220 mph capable, Fully Built, asphalt destroying Snake that WILL beat ANY car on the road RIGHT NOW is definetely worth the price you are asking.;)

Good luck with the sale.

A car is worth what a buyer is willing to pay.
The seller will never get back what they spent to do the build.
Totally agree

Furthermore your claims of "220mph" and "9 sec flat" need to be substantiated. Without proof, (time slips help) then it is pure fiction.
We know what it takes to run north of 200 mph and to even run a 9.6x ET in these cars takes more hp and suspension work than what this car possesses.
And this..easily.

You're going to find out very quickly how knowledgeable and smart the members are here. Making lofty claims of top speed and 1/4 mile times should be backed up with proof if you want most here to take you seriously. As it's already been suggested, a little less ego will go along way.

Best of luck with the sale op!

Well, this went off course. That said, I agree with most whom have posted. 9 flat and 220 kudos my man. But this group knows better. I'm ok with your price point as it's your call. Numbers for perf, well now your in deeper water. Read the forum, learn the knowledge base and proceed with your add from there. GLWS, but may wish to tune down the "numbers"

Looks like the OP has opened this up for some knowledge input. First, according to your invoice you melted down your original numbers matching motor as it includes a new block which directly translate to vehicle value. Two, at your power levels the gearing required to run in the 9's won't be capable of breaking 200mph. Three, your car doesn't have the suspension nor the tire setup to run in the 9's unless you've left those mods off of your list. Four, these cars are not cobra's, they're simply GT500's. And finally number five, there's nothing legendary about your car and build, there are many 13/14's running equal rwhp without a built motor.

You're going to find out very quickly how knowledgeable and smart the members are here. Making lofty claims of top speed and 1/4 mile times should be backed up with proof if you want most here to take you seriously. As it's already been suggested, a little less ego will go along way.

I'm getting my popcorn ready to sit back and watch this unravel.

I Had a paragraph written... but after careful consideration I had to revert back to the wisdom filled words of the super moderator....

(The market will "speak" to the seller.)

That's really says it all! If the OP is committed to sell, reality will eventually prevail and set the sell price. Which we will most likely not be privy to.

Every seller (myself included ) Gets an attachment and thinks they have a unique item, Its only worth what someone will pay.
