IMO, a sports car looks great in a bold yellow with black accents/stripes. I’m not a fan of pale yellows on vehicles. We shall see how this looks in person.

Here are a couple shots. The first one is as I captured it off the Ford build site. The second one is after I did a quick tweak on my iPad.

It's shaping up to be a rare car with all the haters. I need to pick up that conversation with my dealer, since my friend and fleet manager, should be back to work next week after his knee replacement. The Mach 1 is a nice looking car, but it only comes with the striping package. After seeing @Rjstevens ecoboost, that's not a bad looking car with the performance package. I've grown very fond of the turbos in my F-150, even though it's a v-6.

If you are leaning towards buying a new 500, I highly recommend it John! I think we are looking at the last big-power ICE Mustang. This iteration is slated for a 3 year run... we shall see what comes of the S650 platform after that.

True dat! Not that I have that many years left before someone takes my keys away from me. My 2012 doesn't disappoint, but I'd like something a little less raw and rambunctious. I think the 500 could fill that niche. I've almost come to grips with an ADM, if it's reasonable. That's not to say a Mach with an Odin or the 3.0 Whipple might not suffice, but I need to decide soon.

I wish we lived closer to one another. You’d get some seat time behind the wheel. The DCT is absolutely EPIC in this car and integral in the overall experience. Slapping a Whipple on the Mach 1 would be fun, but you’d be missing a big part of what makes the new 500 so freak’n awesome!

I had 2012 Boss 302 in yellow blaze, I think the GT500 would look awesome in that colour

Wow, that's pretty darn yellow. Almost like construction equipment. Not saying that's a bad thing though.

Looking forward to seeing that in person...... IF there's ever a car show by me again.
