Injected Engineering has helped some of my buddies in the past with their older GT500 builds and I'm sure Vengeance Racing would be able to handle most of your major bolt-ons as well as host remote dyno tuning sessions.

Awesome, thanks so much for the recommendations. This is great and exactly the kind of stuff I was looking for. I do not mind having to drive or travel to get quality work done. However, obviously would love the best of both worlds and have a great place that knows their stuff as local to me as possible. For big work, like building the motor or head work I am even more open to traveling or shipping the car out to ensure it is done right the first time. However, for bolt-ons and more day-to-day work I would probably bias towards closer to home.

It would also help to know what generation GT500 your car is especially if you're considering a build that in depth. None of the GT500 cars really need headwork (unless you're talking 60's GT500) and can make high 3 to 4 digit hp numbers easily with the stock heads and the right blower combo. I know that's not common in the VW/Euro scene so be sure to ask us all the questions, but also let us know what your goals are as investing in internal engine work is often unnecessary and the return on investment isn't worth it depending on your goals.

And yes I realize it is pretty solid from the factory. I kind of use opening the block and head work as a benchmark of a shop's expertise in a particular platform. I likely won't need anything above and beyond springs/retainers, studs etc. And if I go that far it won't be for a while so that is not as high on my priority list right now. I tried to over-share more info to help communicate what type of shop I was looking for. Thanks!
