Purchased a Ctek MXS 5.0 40-206. I hooked it up today, but didn’t test my battery first. I do know that the battery was not dead. After a few hours on the normal charge, I have 3 lights. Is it normal for the Ctek to get hot, not warm, hot 130 degrees?

Grabbed your post out of the old thread Bob and made a new one. Haven't noticed my Duracell tenders getting hot.

I have the lithium version of the same charger. It gets pretty warm while actually charging. If 3 lights are on, it is charging at close to full power. At 4.3 amps, the internal switching power transistors are dissipating around 60 watts of energy. Imagine grabbing onto a 60 watt incandescent light bulb after it was on a while. 130 F is nothing to worry about. Check the temp again after it gets to the top LED and starts pulse charging in maintenance mode. The temp shouldn’t be much over ambient.
