My new truck (2025 Toyota Tacoma Limited)

Ok, so I finally bought a brand-new vehicle just for me. All the other NEW vehicles were family cars that my wife claimed as hers. I've always bought used vehicles for myself, so I figured it was my time.

She is a 2025 Toyota Tacoma Limited in wind chill pearl. She had 10 miles on her when I got her and I absolutely love her. I didn't need a full size Tundra or the like as I don't have a need for it, although this one has the towing package etc. Got her wrapped and ceramic coated too.

How is the shifting on the transmission? Had a friend complain that his Taco was always searching for a different gear.
I’ll probably be looking for a new Tacoma later next year. Mine will be over 200,000 miles by then.

Hi Jim,

Haven't noticed any issues yet, but she only has 850 miles on her so far. I had a 1990 Toyota that had 169k on her when I blew the gears in the rearend and couldn't find parts. I absolutely loved that truck. I've had good luck with Toyotas over the year.
