Purchased a mechanical boost gauge for my 07, however I think the provided hardware isn't going to work. Any supplemental parts list and pics from a prior install would be appreciated.

Are you talking about the tiny hose/tubing that they provide? My friend just bought an autometer boost gauge for his car and he was wondering how to 'T' that into an existing hose. He found/ordered this fitting but doesn't get it until next week. http://www.dieselmanor.com/dm_products/boost_gauge_kit.asp

Another option would be to just not use the supplied hardware and just buy a new hose that will go over the fitting on the back of the boost gauge and you can use a regular "T" to tap into one of your existing boost lines.

Pull the fitting off the fuel pressure sensor on the pass fuel rail and buy some hose long enough to make it into your cabin. Then at the fuel sensor, just cut and buy either a brass T or a black plastic T and use a short piece if hose from the sending unit to the T then the factory fitting will go on the other end.

Here's how i did mine. I used a T fitting and then used the factory 90 degree fitting off the Eaton Superchargers bypass valve. I cut the black plastic hose coming out of the 90 degree elbow since it is barbed and holds the hose securely under boost. then I used a small diameter vacuum hose to connect the two plastic hoses. I put heat shrink on the end of the white plastic gauge hose and applied heat to shrink so it would stay secured in the vacuum hose. Slid it all together and heat shrinked the outside as well.

My measuring caliper is at work. Looks to be 1/4 inch to me. I just purchased a black plastic T from O'reilly Auto Parts Store. You could pick up a 1/4 to 1/16 T and do the same with the heat shrink if you don't have the 90 degree oem fitting. The main reason I used the oem 90 degree fitting was for cosmetic appearance.

Hardage is correct. This is the vacuum hose coming from the front of the intake and going to the fuel pressure regulator. I tapped into it where I did because I already had a Vacuum T at the regulator to feed the KB bypass Valve.

If you do it like Kurtdog, you'll have to go buy more hose too. Stock, the hose coming from the front of the intake and going to the fuel pressure sensor is just a small plastic tube similar to the tubing provided with the boost gauge and the stock line that goes to the supercharger bypass valve (which Kurtdog removed and used the 90* elbow for boost gauge install). I know this for certain as I just swapped mine out 2 weeks ago. I swapped it out because I T'd off of that line to go to my Kenne Bell bypass valve.

Thanks for the info, been a while since I did the KB swap and I forgot about that.

Just a quick question guys. Is the stock boost gauge not that good or are you guys boosting more then the factory gauge goes up to?

'13 on up goes pretty high but you have to look down to see it. In the "less desire able" models it doesn't go as high. So mostly two reasons with one being better vis and two being capable of reading up to or beyond 20
