Not a big fan of yellow, but this car wears it well.

 

Looks great! I prefer more of a school bus yellow, but it looks sharp on this body.

 

I sent my dealer a text to see if he can find any 2021 ordering info. I wouldn’t order this color but I don’t hate it.

 

Did you hear back? I asked my dealer here on Wednesday and he said nothing is available yet on 2021 pricing..tick tick tick.

 

I have never been a fan of yellow on much of anything. I think this car pulls it off well but not my cup of tea.

 

Ok, anyone know why the wheel face is red in the center?

 

Those are brightly painted (red and green centers) base wheels that go on the CFTP cars while the car is working its way down the production line (so the expensive wheels don’t get damaged). The CF wheels get added later, with the wing and then the car goes to Penske for painted stripes (if optioned). I’m sure the CF handling package cars (2021 option) will get the same treatment.

The yellow is different, not a color I would pick but doesn’t look bad. My only thing is I think this is a strip delete color, with the black strips is going to be a bumble bee lol. Hmmm maybe white or silver strips.

 

An eye popping color for sure. Saw my first 2020 GT500KR in person last week going the opposite way in town. Saw it coming and am so used to seeing GT350’s that I was just glancing until I saw the cobra in the center of the grill and then the hood. It was lime green (whatever that is called), and that’s a real eye popper too.

 

Yellow as well as green are both eye popping colors! There is no “KR” for the 2020+... at least not yet... who knows what Ford will do in the next couple years.

If my post mislead you, sorry. I figured out today while drafting another post that my phone remembered some posts I made about KR models, and it was auto-correcting my GT500 into a GT500KR, which it did again during this post.

 

in 2017 with my GT350 I thought I was King of the Road until a 2020 GT500 blasted right by me 😕

 

It really turned out to be a non-event for us. I think that cold-front moving this way kept the rain and wind away from us.

 

This reminds me of the scene in Caddyshack when Dangerfield says something like, "Do you get a free bowl of soup with that hat?" Then he sees Ted Night wearing it and adds, "But it looks good on you though."

Hmmm, I tend to like yellow cars but that yellow isn't doing it for me. Too light or something.

 

Color looks good, but I wouldn't combine a black roof with white stripe. Eliminate the black roof or change stripe to black.

 

The yellow is too pale for my tastes. I agree on combining a black roof with white stripes... a black roof flows much better with black stripes.

 

Surprised they went with white stripes, probably didn’t want it to be called Bumblebee.

 

Looks much better completed. Still prefer a darker yellow, but know some will love it.

It comes down to if you like the styling lines on the front or not. I dig them and black conceals all the contrasting lines. I do admit that an all black 2020 looks sinister... there was an all black CFTP posted here recently, but the front fascia lines are lost on black cars.

I also agree this yellow is too pale. White stripes don’t help.

 

Not a fan of yellow. It was always a taxicab color or for some kind of service vehicle.
