I can confirm that at least for the 2021 GT500s with the Handling Pack that the Adjustable Strut Top Mounts are in fact installed by the factory. The mounts installed at the factory are a different part number than those that come as a loose item to be installed by the dealer. This is because the factory installed mounts have added set screws to pin the mounts in the street camber alignment while the dealer installed mounts do not. Attached are the instructions for removing these set screws and for making adjustment to your front camber.


Factory Installed & Adjustable: LR3V-18183-AB & LR3V-18184-AB (Same plates installed on the GT350R)

Dealer Installed & Adjustable: KR3V18183-AC & KR3V-18184-AC

Non-Adjustable Standard Mount: KR3V-3K155-BB (Same for both side)

It’s good Ford “righted” this wrong for 2021. This didn’t help the 2020 owners though.

Here is the video I did on removing those pins. Getting a proper track alignment is vital for tire longevity on the track.

I have a 2020. Is there any way I can tell if the adjustable mounts are installed on my car just from looking at the towers in the engine bay? I have the handling package and didn't get these in boxes in the trunk.

On mine I can see the label with the part number on it through the opening in the top of the strut tower, see part numbers in my last post. If you take a picture of I can tell you which one you have as well. All three variants are slightly different visually.

Ford’s info on this went back and forth... in the end, the 2020 handling package cars did not get the plates. The 2021+ cars are getting them though.

In the 06/28/2019 Order Guide the Handling package only came with the Gurney Flap and Splitter Wickers, then in the 02/01/2020 order guide they added the catch can and later there was mention of the adj strut top mounts. There was so much talk about the mounts that a few people complained to the dealers and managed to get a set of mounts, which turned out to be GT350 mounts that where suppose to go to GT350 owners but were never handed over to those owners. The adj strut top mounts were never listed in any of the 2020 Order Guides.
