Trailer Escape Door & Ramp?

Would like to hear from different owners on escape doors. Basically, the basic escape door, and make the ramp setup. Or would you get the "full" escape door down to, and into the wheelwell area (including removable wheelwell).

It appears even the least expensive trailer I could find with the "full door", is on average 10-15 grand more than a lower cost, basic escape door trailer. Probably a better trailer overall, but I don't need a top notch trailer.

That and the ramp idea would seem useful for possible work/inspection of car maybe during a track day. Not sure if it's really up high enough for that type of thing. But ramp deal also allows you to open door further inside (I'd guess), without opening any escape door (IE, it's pouring out, you just want to get something in or out of car, @ car show weekend, lets say)

Thanks for the replies. My main reservation of doing the ramps is I eventually want to use this as a 'travel" trailer also ( I retire in about 11 months). Have reasonably nice living quarters up front, and keep our Escape in rear.

Drive to area to see the sites. Unload Escape and use it local, but have rest of rear section of trailer to "live" in. Like a temp dining set and/or temp bed setups. A ramp setup would really cramp that ability, unless ramp was removable (not impossible I guess).

So this was the least expensive trailer I could find with a full escape door setup. It is not V nose and does not have "upgraded" axles. Even though it is alum and 1000 lbs lighter than steel (3250 vs 4200), I think I may bang up against it's 6700 ish load capacity, especially after building living 1/4's and packing in my "FULL" tool kit (IE, I currently bring a 110V full size 25 gallon compressor to track days :)). It's about $22K

The other option is spec my own. I get 14K torsion axles with hydraulic brakes, V nose, and some options that do not come on the first trailer. I especially like the look of a charcoal trailer with black out package (although the first trailer does have some options I would not get, spec-ing it out myself, like the white interior walls). This is most likely a "cheaper" made trailer than the first, I realize.

Would look like this, but be 28' with alum wheels
