I need to start getting some posters I plan to have a dedicated space in my building. I'm a Rat Fink fan from way back and I bought this art several months ago from a licensed Rat Fink artist.

My strong hint worked. Went out to dinner last night with some family and friends to celebrate my 60th birthday, and my Mom bought the banner for me. Wasted no time ironing this morning and putting it up in the garage. Thanks for the tip!

Happy Birthday!! Cool photo.

Just got this rare banner delivered. It’s big… 4x6. I need to find space to hang it. It’s from 1994 and I paid dearly for it.

Got the new big banner hung. I’m out of wall space, so I hung it from the ceiling. It goes nicely with the car.

Finally got one up! I found this frame on Amazon. Was $5 more than hobby lobby. But i didn’t have to drive and get it and don’t have one close to me. This is the cheap style where all the edges come off. Makes it easy to put it in though. @Goose17 what’s your preferred method for hanging on foam? I used one of those wall fish hooks just bent a little and it seemed ok.

This isn’t a poster story, but it may give someone a chuckle. When I lived back East about 12 years ago, I had a friend who owned a Shelby 427 replica. He was at a car show and CS happened to be there. My friend had nothing for him to sign. Thinking fast, he ran to his car, ripped the glove box door off the dash, and had Shelby sign it. He then went back to the shop and had them re-install it on his car.

He signed tons of those and visors over the years. Before he passed away you could show up at SA and he’d sign the dash of any Shelby vehicle. Such a wonderful person.

I was told he’d sign most anything for $10-20. I was also told he didn’t like replicas.
