bad news for you Geoff - Realspeed's dyno is the "Heartbreaker"

in general 5-10% lower #s on a MD vs. DJ

So which one is the "real" hp numbers. I don't mind whatever number I get, but I've seen guys here claiming over 700hp on a dynojet with a TVS and bolt on mods. Is that really more like 630hp on a Mustang?

who cares, it's a number. It's like saying "I can bench 800 lbs, who cars if the guy 1/2 your size can still kick your azz?"

there is no direct comparison, too many variables, the dyno set up, atmospheric conditions etc

Mustang Dyno's read lower because they calculate more load based on weight of car and a calculated wind resistance. I would say the lower number would probably be more accurate. Then there are also other variables that come into play such as how tight the car is strapped down, is it in on the rollers at a slight angle air quality and temp. For comparison's sake a mustang dyno always reads lower.

I can see the fun in using the same dyno as you add mods. Of course, conditions will vary, but you can kind of adjust for that.

For me its all about whipping this horse like it needs to be whipped on the track, just like any thoroughbred.

I wanted to go to dyno day, but headed to atco on oct 3 so going to skip it.

Yea, I'm in. Trying to get a few more stangs down there. We were at 11 cars at last check so room for 4 more. Let me know next time you go. I really want to see that thing scream down the track.
