Finally got the tint done and was inquiring about ppf and he showed me some he had done but there was a quarter inch missing all the way around each body panel. He had a truck in there that had accumulated dirt around those edges and he said that's normal and he has everyone bring it back after 30 days to trim back any peeling film.
Videos I have seen from guys doing really high end rides there was no visible seams and each body panel was wrapped completely.
They guy I talked too was 6200 for full ppf. So is he cheaper thus a inferior job or is this just how ppf works. Myself I could not live with how it looked I'd rather spend 6000 repainting high impact areas every 5 years. Not a daily driver tho.
