Hello members!
I am new to this forum. I was able to submit my pic of my 07 GT500 Shebly and not really sure about navigating around other options in this forum.
I am retired LEO. I bought a 07 GT500 off aFord EXC I was Body Guarding. I t is a sweet ride with only 12,000 miles, is flawless.
I recently had Alturnative Performance do a SC upgrade. Lidio installed the new Whipple Gen5 3.0L kit, which included 132mm TB, 3.25 10 rib SC pulley, 123mm CAI, AFCO, HE, 60/65 Injectors, (forget which ones), 13-14 GT500 Clutch, one piece Aluminum Performance Driveshaft, Barton Short Throw Shifter. I have MT/Drag Radsio's. A Lidio Custom Tune gave me 715RWHP, 638 Rear Torque, about 780 Crank HP. He cut out the Cats and put in resinators to tone down exhaust noise, all sounds great, until I get on it, some exhaust pops in ist gear when I jump on it, assuming thats normal. All this on 93-94 Octane. He told me I did not need a fuel BAP? Not sure that was right, because I read everyone has one, but Lidio is very well known as the best in the area of MI, so I take his word. This setup is running on 17-18 PSI Boost. Thoughts from the Shelby brothers out there on this post?
He will be installing Kook Headers next year for better SC breathing and a little extra HP, thoughts??
