For the low low price of almost half a mil. Awesome car no doubt, but these markups are absolutely insane. If this car hit the auction block (and probably why it's not there), it would never hit reserve let alone close to that number.
I saw a 911 GT2 RS at a dealership in Cali a couple years back for $100K over sticker and it was STILL less than this thing and the GT2 is superior in every way, other than maybe a drag race. But if that's all you want, go get a Demon 170. Still a way overpriced Dodge and not nearly as sexy (plus it's a Dodge), but who cares about 1/4 mile times at that price point?
Sheesh, I guess there is always somebody that will pay a crazy price to have the rarest of the rare (even if it's just a highly modified GT500) and park them in their garage. However, regarding auctions, there are a lot of people that make bigtime mistake and way overpay for something that ends up tanking in value long term. But again, the people with this kind of money probably don't care.
