This technically applies to any Sync3 equipped car (or so I'm guessing, it works on our Expedition too).
Accidentally found out, you can take a screenshot of your CarPlay screen.
Have your phone hooked to CarPlay (USB) and take a screenshot on your phone --- it takes the phone screen and the CarPlay screen (not any of the regular Ford screens).
So if you are on a regular Ford screen, audio/climate/etc - it will be the base CarPlay icon screen.
If you are on a CarPlay app screen, say Waze, it will capture that app screen.
Kinda cool.
