They put very little effort in the teaser to be anything ground breaking, maybe a boss edition?

 

I think a hybrid would be cool. The corvette e-ray has power numbers of a Z06

 

Hybrid would be interesting & 4 wheel drive would likely go well with that concept. Remember there’s a guy who already converted his S550 to 4WD so it’s feasible. Weight would be the concern with doing all that, Mustangs are heavy compared to other performance hybrids.

 

The boss said no hybrid or electric Mustangs for this generation, so unless he changed his mind, a hybrid isn't likely.

 

I wouldn’t put it pass them to tell a white lie like that and then drop a hybrid. It’s the new way to sell EV without being fully EV but meets 2030 emissions goals.

That was a Shelby American car. Ford is teasing a new Mustang variant. Two totally different cars.

 

As long as it's gas burning and loud I'm good.
