I saw a 2007 gt500 in traffic today and it had no brembo brakes on the front. Everything else was just like a 2007 gt500. Is this possible?

Doubtful it left the factory like that. Are you sure it wasn't a poser? I don't know why you couldn't put GT or V-6 brakes on a Shelby. Are you basing this on the fact they didn't say Brembo, or were you sure it had the single pot calipers. The Brembo logo is just a sticker.
