I don’t believe so. I’ve seen a handful of owners on FB do the intercooler mod and no one mentioned removing the fascia.

ohhh yeah thanks for the welcome names Larry they call me NOS pete since late 80s if anyone here is my age you’d know why lol there was a gentleman in the Foxbody world that was in all the famousford and Mustang zines named Peter mesinsky. And you know how that happens I’ve as well been known to turn heads and get a lot of thumbs up at the local drags. Track and streets. He he he just got rid of my 2018 GT coupe base model that turned out being a mid 10sec 1/4 mile NA build. Best ever was 6:85 1/8th at 103moh 10:68 @ 129. All motor and that wasn’t even great DA it was like 800-1200 I remember then I Whipple charged that at best of 9.1 @ 158mph in 3000 da and 85 degree day. Currently 2020 GT500 base model shadow black stripe delete chasis #L0006 desirable low number six of 5000. Planing on a full bolt on minus blower porting hoping for that 9.3 to 9.5 number and done until ??I don’t believe so.
