What'd you do today?

Well, the wife is working and I'm bored, so I'm starting this tread. There's always, "What did you do to your XXXXX today?" threads, so I thought this would be something different.

As I said above, the wife is working today, so I made it into a work day for myself. Spent 5-6 hours at our 7 acre property where we are going to build next spring. There's a spot that was set up perfect for a campground type area, so I've been working on cleaning it up.

I really thought the point of buying a tractor was to limit the amount of physical labor that was exerted, but I think I'm wrong. So, I needed some muscle relaxer for a night of watching football...

I may have started a little early though...

Cut and trim lawn today as well, might not be able for a bit. Eating my last food and drink before midnight, as instructed by doctors before my eye surgery tomorrow, sure makes me nervous even though been through 3 already, but heard from several eye doctors around town if they had to have eye surgery, it would be by doctor doing mine, I'll try to remember a selfie tomorrow with patch that I can post on Sunday with a uncovered eye for those that bear to to see a jacked up 👁 eyeball.
I hope all goes well tomorrow, good to know you have a good doctor doing your surgery Jim.

@JSHACK: We'll all be having good thoughts for your surgery and I get the anxiety but..not many surgeries are so computer-controlled. For that reason, I'd bet that eye surgery is one of the safest and most reliable methods.

Good luck!

I watched my Daughter graduate and be recognized for her 2 achievements being the top student in her Nursing program and Culinary Program. It has been a cool experience.
Congratulations to her and the "parents". When your kids succeed, it is a confirmation that you and your wife were successful parents and you guys can bathe in the light of accomplishment! After meeting your son, I think he too is well on his way to making you all proud parents! Way to go!

For me, since I'm here early most days, "What'd you do today?" is what I did yesterday. :)

And that was the weekly (so far) mowing. The photo is from this morning and it was a gorgeous sunrise.

And then there's the other half of the front..ugh. Fortunately, it wasn't TOO hot..(yet.)

I'm a little late with this good luck, but I hope all is going perfectly right now. I'm sure your doctor will do the procedure perfectly, and hopefully you'll be done with the eye problem finally Jim.

Executed Tim’s exhaust wrap mod. I think it’s in volume 5 chapter 6 of the GT500 bible by Goose.
Driver's side went better after lessons learned doing passenger side because apparently I need to measure 3 times before I cut, because twice didn’t cut it (errr, actually did cut it but…..never mind🤦‍♂️) Now just need to tidy up a bit and get another hose clamp to replace the metal ties I temporarily used due to my mathematical insufficiency 🤦‍♂️

now to tackle the Jaeger bros mod & maybe even drilling the spare tow hook door if I’m feeling particularly adventurous lol

Hoping Laika is done with the current round of seizures. He had two more last night, about 7:30 and then just after 10. I gave him valium after the 7:30 one, hoping to break the cluster so he wouldn't have another one this morning, but didn't get it all in his nose. And then I did it again after the 10pm one, and got the full dose that time. He was still a little off this morning. Was roaming around the house, and a couple times thought about crawling under the bed, but he listened to me when I told him no. I let him outside after giving him his morning meds, and he ended up finding a spot and just laid down while I was in the shower, and was still just laying there after I got dressed, so I let him be. But I had to go out and coax him back inside when I left. And after a couple laps around the house, finally decided to lay down outside the bedroom. And he was still there when mom and sister got to the house an hour ago. But she said he was acting normally, so I'm hoping things are getting better. He's had doubles before, morning and night, or night and morning, but never a 2nd one 3 hours after one before. Probably taking a little more time to completely get back to normal, especially after having some valium. He sure looked drugged last night, even tho it took him til almost midnight to finally decide to just lay down and relax. Seizures tend to do this, so nothing really out of the norm, but it's a first for him. Gonna see how he is when I get home in a couple hours and decide if I need to chat with the vet about it. A little difficult to be at the office, but he's not alone, so I'm a little better about it.

I believe Tim may have double wrapped it, I used 1x 50ft roll and had just over enough to do a single pass. For my purposes should be sufficient. The key will be if it holds together. I read some have used a high heat coating spray as an extra layer to help keep it bound. May look into that.
