Very interesting. I would not have expected the amount of hydraulics in the valve body. I figured it would be electric. Hydraulic would seem to be more robust and more durable.

The jury is still out on that Joe. Some of these cars are already over 1000 hp at the crank with mild mods, but the tranny hasn’t been “unlocked” yet. Once programmers figure out how to tweak the code to let all the torque hit early, we’ll find out what abuse this thing can take. I’m sure someone will learn an expensive lesson.

Speaking of which, any speculation on the price of one of these units?
I’ve seen $20k mentioned by someone, but I have no idea if they were spit-ball’n or that was an accurate number.

I haven’t been able to find any online parts retailers listed yet like Autonation or Tasca for this car yet.
