There is so much to tell but most of it is rumors and conjecture. Google SVT and read some of the articles written. Bottom line, I talked with guys from SVTOA (owners assoc) and they basically said that as you might imagine, 1) performance cars are a niche market (that's why you predominantly see v6 mustangs; they are the bread and butter) and 2) the gas crunch/price increase is hurting the perfromance car market. I know it may seem weird at a time when Dodge's SRT team has a performance version of nearly every model, but SVT has been downscaled as Ford looks ahead into surviving in today's automotive market.I read somewhere that SVT was leaving Ford.
This would be the last 2 yrs.
Any1 have some info on this ?
And if so, what does this mean for future Cobras?
