What's the best deal on a 2008 that you've heard of?

The dealers in my area just have a ton of 2008 inventory right now, and they're just giving away most of their vehicles. (Non-GT500).

So I am thinking about going in and throwing down my best deal on one...finally. How close to invoice do you think I can get? What's the best deal you heard of - so I have some idea how low they're willing to go. Cash deal, of course.

Probably not less then MSRP from a dealer for a new one.

For a 2008? Even though they have a bunch sitting on the lot collecting dust?

I find that hard to believe. Nobody has gotten one less than msrp?

In my area (NYC) and surrounding, two Fords dealers went out of business/closed this month. My thoughts that if you catch the right dealer that needs the cash flow, you may get one at MSRP or + / - close.

Ive seen a few go at about 2k under sticker if the dealer just wants to get it off their lot. I still see a couple still asking for 7-12k over sticker which is quite funny atm.

I got mine for $2000 under MSRP but it had 180 miles on it....check e-bay, I've seen several pop up like that. Happy hunting!:cheers:

2009 GT500, $3000 below MSRP.

yeah i got my 09 gt500 for about 1500 under msrp, but i kinda got lucky on that so...
