Does the GT500 supercharger have its own oil reservoir or is does it get its oil from the engine?

It has it's own oil reservoir.

The oil is contained within the blower assembly itself. There is a drain plug right next to the snout on the front of the blower. Im not sure when the oil should be changed.

According to Ford the oil in the stock blower never needs changed...I would do it periodically as part of maintenance if I was still running it though... http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=170&viewfile=Engine.pdf

100,000 miles for the TVS, Whipple 2.9 & 3.4; 10,000 miles for a KB.

I won't run mine that long but that is the recommended change interval.
