Thinking of removing the two smaller stripes on the side of the car. Anyone done this that has posted photos? Also do you think this will affect the value of the car for future resale?

I don't know or remember if anyone has done this.

As for affecting the resale value, it shouldn't affect it at all, as you can buy the stripes from your dealer and have them re-installed if and when you are thinking of selling the car.

I have seen one person that removed the side stripes but left the GT500 on the car. You can see it in one of my vids on youtube. It is about half way through this one.

starts at about 4:20. It is blue with white stripes, and the guy has on a yellow hat.

listen real close! he said he had the "JBLT" cold air intake! No that is not a typo......lol

Not a big fan of the side stripe delete in that vid. The "GT500" just seems to hang there in space. Keep the side stripes. They look good.

I'm with the Prez. Side stripes really add to the overall look. They should stay............
