I was just wanting to confirm what I think on this subject.
So you got deep pockets and can afford the ss725. Do you modify or change anything on the car or leave it they way Shelby did it?



My opinion is if you change anything then it is no longer a SS.

I say leave it stock. If you want more HP, it's easy enough to make more with a regular GT500 than modifying the SS and overall it will be a lot cheaper than the SS in the long run.

If you want exclusivity, go with the Super Snake and leave it alone. If you want power, make the mods yourself and spend a 1/4 of the money.

I've got 606 rwhp (~713 at the crank), and the engine mods cost me only about $5K. Another $5K and I'm sure I could be up around 700+ rwhp. After transportation and tax, the 725 super snake is going to cost you about $40K.
