Hi,
does anybody know why there is a MMC storage card required in order to use the ProCal tool? I was under the impression that the tune is "on" the ProCal?
Anybody?

I assume you are referring to the new Procal tool. The original Procal stored the performance tune and downloads the stock tune into internal memory. I'm not really sure but perhaps now everything is stored to the MMC - just my guess. The instructions say to install the MMC which should come with the Procal. You can download the instructions here.

The new Procal allows the user to adjust for differential gear ratio and tire sizes.

THX for the info.

When I put the MMC in my PC card reader it ( WinXP ) shows me a blank card. I assume only the procal tool "sees" data on the MMC?!
