Hello All! I’ve been stalking this forum for quite a while and now it’s time to be a part of it!

I have a '13 GT with a ton of work done to it and back in November I picked up a '22 GT500! What an amazing car!

Little about me, I live in NJ (come on spring!) and I've been a Mustang fan for as long as I can remember. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person but I do all my own paint correction and ceramic coating work (and maybe one day I pick up PPF application).

I'm looking to get into road coarse racing and Monday (3/20) I'll be in Charlotte for Track Attack!

Prepare to have a blast at Track Attack! Be forewarned though… it’s the gateway drug. Holler if you have any road course questions.

What't the plan for the RED brakes ??

HA!…I’ve seen a slot of comments about red brakes with green cars. To me it doesn’t scream “Christmas” like it does to some people but, while I don’t want to modify this car much, I would like to have them painted yellow to go better with the paint.

I would have to find someone that can repaint them and make it look original. I can’t stand poorly re-sprayed brake calipers.

That would bother me too. It’s a shame Ford didn’t offer different color options for the calipers.

Suggest you do a forum search for Goose's most excellent May 21, 2012 post about doing a brake job to include painting the calipers.

Your Mistress looks badass, I love the eruption green, for me the Red Calipers look fantastic.

Yep couldn't agree more Tim, Eruption Green and the bright red calipers look great, Rapid red yes they clash. They look great on Race Red cars though

That GT with the Whipple must be fast AF and fun to drive. I can't even imagine that GT500 you just got. BTW, the ceramic is noticably awesome. I gotta get that done ASAP! I also like the red calipers, but would love to see how they look in yellow... At your expense. 😁 For real tho, my 2010 has stock calipers in black and I'm debating if I should go with red or something different?

Oh Ya RED on an all blackout car is awesome! I’m biased as hell though my 350 was all black except the red calipers 🤣
