Lethal posted this on SVTP. It's a new, upcoming Cervini hood for the 2010-2014 GT500 fashioned after the 2020 GT500 hood. If that's a true heat extractor, I may be sporting a new hood later this year.

These are open on the 2020, right? How does Ford vent rain water from the engine? I've not seen one up close and personal.

They’re “open” only if you remove the rain tray for track use.

I can't imagine rain on coil packs would be a good thing.

I can't imagine rain.

It is so seldom we get any!!!
..............we need rain...…………..
I can't either, you would think here in north Mississippi we would get rain often, has'n t had a true rain in weeks, just keeps going around us, having a light drizzle this morning but everything is dry, my beautiful green golf course lawn is mostly brittle grass, too much to water, somebody send some rain, none in forecast for next week or so either...oh, that hood interest me as well, now I will have 2 options to choose from when I pull the plug.

That looks FANTASTIC on the S197! I dig the look on the 2020 and Cervinis did that one nicely! If it has a removable tray like the 2020, it will be awesome at removing heat. I would highly recommend hood pins though since I suspect the large open vent will lose some rigidly over a solid hood.

It's not. My 2007 F-150 composite intake had a crack in it and water got on my coil packs and shorted them out so bad that the whole truck started shaking and that was only on the drivah's side. Passenger side had no cracks in it.
