talked with my dealer today and they sold the last two at 17000 over. From what they tell me they have a list that is quite long for 2007s and 2008s.Welcome to the forum hhh.
Unfortunately no, a few folks here have been lucky enough (or early enough) to get one for a nice low price. In my part of the states it's been 10,000 over that dissapear quickly, and most dealers are holding around 18,000 over since no one buys at 25,000.
It's incredibly overpriced, and while they're lovely cars, that I would probably pay close to 5k over for, I don't see it happening in the near future. : \
hhh,I have been trying to buy a new GT500 (white/blue stripes) to go with my '65 Shelby 350GT and '65 GT40 in Europe.
So far only offers of $20k over list or more.
Any dealers (anywhere) that will sell me a new car for a decent amount over list like $5-6K????
I want to use the car for a period in the US and then ship it to Europe.
Anyone can help???????
Thanks very much, I will contact them.
I can always get is painted white.......
+1The one for 52K is in the ballpark if you ask me. GGBIW![]()

Tell him Cal sent you.
Did you talk to Chris Pheifer?Well, it doesn't work.
They are asking over $ 59,000 and have refused an offer of $ 55,000
I called a few others but around $ 60,000 is the regular asking price it seems.
With the volume being produced I hoped they would come down.
So the search is still on and I am prepared to pay like $ 52,000 but not much more than that.................(I'll trow in a Champ Car pit pass!)
I stopped in and talked to Chris yesterday and he obviously had his Shelbys mixed up when he talked to me.Yes I did talk to Chris, but he mentioned talking about 2 cars with you.
The white/blue definitely was more expensive.
I would appreciate it if you talk to him, see what you can arrange.
I'll pay the $52K or maybe a bit more....
Thanks Harley, that's what I'll do.I stopped in and talked to Chris yesterday and he obviously had his Shelbys mixed up when he talked to me.
The $52,000 is for the Shelby GT and the $60,000 is for the GT500.
On the GT they had $9,995.00 for the Shelby add-on and $10,000 of their own "Shelby Market" add-on.
Hang in there hhh. I know the GT500 had been sitting there about 3-4 weeks now. You should check back with them close to the end of the month and see if they will take less.
John,Hi,
Thanks for the information but in the mentime I got a FR500C GT4 for racing in Europe and the idea of a GT500 has died.....
