Hello everyone,

Let me start by asking a "most likley" stupid question. I only want to lower the rear of my 08 gt500 and not the front. Can I do this by simply installing the lowering springs on the rear or will that throw off the geometry of the entire car?

Thanks in advance

Somebody has done that. There are pictures somewhere, but I forget where.

See if you can find them. If I recall correctly, it didn't look right with just the rear lowered.

Might be bad memory on my part, too.

If you lower just the rear then make sure that the springs do not lower the rear more than 1" because then the back will be lower than the front.. IMO doesn't look good at all.. There was someone that did it on another site then opted to lower the front... Just my $.02

My Buddy lowered just the rear and it looks great. He bought the rear springs from Rousch and the adjustable panhard bar from Steeda.

Hey where's the guy who started this thread ? (wyroadking) Drive by ?

BTW if you want to just lower the rear and still have a nice ride use these: H & R rear springs # 51655R The car will be almost perfectly level (about 1/4" lower in rear than front )
