How does this add HP and TQ ?

I thought the engine needed to 'flex' to a point so as not to break something?

Would stiffening up at this point cause more vibration and noise?

It does seem as though it would be a good idea on a road course, less weight shift although minimal.

If you install just the K-brace, you'll see an improvement in handling and probably not a lot of increase in NVH. But if you install the torque-limiter straps, as I have on my GT, along with the K-brace, you'll definitely see an increase in NVH. With the K-brace and straps together, you've basically locked the engine and chassis together, which is the whole point. Not only does it stiffen the front end for better handling, but I haven't missed 3rd gear since.

Thanks.

The Gt500's have a brace there and I'm not sure you are talking about the same brace or not?
