Not absolutely necessary, but recommended.

Hell, it would even be a good mod on an otherwise stock car to be honest, but yes... if you're going to push any additional boost, you should do everything possible to cool the charge.

While it is not a bad idea members were running pulleys on these cars a good 18 months before the first H/E arrived on scene.

Highly recommended if you're gonna boost the engine multiple times in a row. You can get away with it when it is cool or drag racing but everyday hot thrashing it will help with power and safety factor.

and they are not to hard to install
the afco is the easiest by far

i have the steeda and it does make a big diff
