My new to me 2,700 mile 2011 is now in my possession. The only option on the car is the SVT performance package. It still has a new car smell. The cover I kept from my 2013 Roush RS3 fits like a glove.
Congrats on such a clean, virgin score Tim! 🤟
Ha ha..... Yeah, I know....Congrats on such a clean, virgin score Tim! 🤟
Most new owners proclaim the car is perfect and will remain stock. Then you hang around this place and see how easily and safely it is to modify these cars. The 2011 has a more robust fuel system that responds well to mods. Holler when we can help you spend more money!
We put Roush Extremes on my son’s 2010 Mustang GT. In my opinion, the are the best sound for a 2005-2010 V8 Mustang. IMO, the best sound for a 2011/12 GT500 is Borla-S, which I have. If you want a LOT of bark, go with the Ataks.Ok, I can see a Roush axle back exhaust in my somewhat near future. I've owned a couple of Roush's in the past and really liked the sound. Bark when you stand on it but quiet enough to not wake up the subdivision when coming and going. Even my wife said it's too quiet last night. That sounds like a green light to me....
Guess I'll try to hear the Borlas before I plunk down money. I obviously had the Roush system on the 2013 I had. I was pretty happy with it.We put Roush Extremes on my son’s 2010 Mustang GT. Yes, they are the original Eagle F1's. And yes they aren't happy cold. Just like the Michelin Cup2's I had on my Z06. Michigan sure wasn't in the plans. I'd been in Florida for 28 years and was never leaving. Never say never...... This Shelby will get covered up for the winter much to soon. I'd like to stack these rims and tires down in the storage section of the basement and put some 20's all around with Nitto's.... I'll see how the winter goes....Did I read correctly, still the original tires? Be very careful, they can be very slick unless warmed up. And DON'T drive in temps under 50 degrees.
I see you're from Michigan...funny, I flew out to Michigan to buy mine! Enjoy it!
