Probably BS... I remember Gino (the Owner) telling me that the GT500 Cars used in that Movie were modified by Picturecars with an Automatic Transmission.
If anyone is interested in that Shelby a call to them for verification would be prudent.

I reached out to them to call them out on the transmission because it should be an Automatic. This is what the seller said

There were six cars total five of them were crushed one of them was a fake automatic for some of the shots but this was the main car for beauty shots. All documented by the owner of the production company

I asked them for there other 300 photos they claim they have in the listing

This part of the article raise my eyebrow. $50k-$70k??? I'm not sure that is a true statement.

"Whether it's worth $150,000 is hard to call. Low mileage examples not used in movies are selling for $50-70,000, and this one only has around 6,000 miles on the clock."

My first 07 GT500 was ordered and received by yours truly on Dec 8th 2006. One of the best days of my life.
When the movie was released I parked it in front of our theater to "show" it off
