I Know this has been discussed; I searched and couldn't find anything. I ordered mine late on Thursday 4/12/07, Dealer said he would get the numbers (VIN and Dates) for me Friday, I haven’t heard back. How long should I have to wait for the Shelby? He said it would be a 07.

Welcome to the board Mobeydick. You don't have too long of a wait,we quit making the 2007's June 29th and start making the 2008's the same day.If you just ordered it and the dealer is going to give you dates already you are way ahead of the game.

There are people here waiting over a year, ouch.Good morning Prez it's comming.

I just picked one up March 31st. It took just under 10 weeks, about the shortest time period I've seen on these boards.

Very small dealership = Very low build priority

It's the price I had to pay to get a low ADM. If I was willing to pay $10K-$20K over MSRP, I would have had it months ago. Although I whine a lot, I definitely think the wait is worth the cost savings. She would have just sat in the garage all winter anyway.

Basically same thing here, I told Jodie (General Manager) to get me one in late November. He told me he would try but he already sold the one they were allowed. Said we could try the lottery, we did and he said we didn't hit either one. Early Feb or mid Feb. I’ve been going by every week or so just to let him know I still wanted one and out of the Blue he called last Thursday.

When I asked how much in Nov. he said 5K over MSRP& Des. Plus tax. That should be somewhere around 62K That I’ll do. Could have already had one if I was willing to pay 70 K from another dealer.

Hey Mobey,

If you are paying $5K over MSRP, $62K seems a little high...

I'm paying $2K over...
MSRP: $40,930 (coupe)
GGTax: $1,300
Prem Int: $595
Shaker 1000: $1,295
D&D: $745
ADM: $2,000
5.1% Tax: $2,390
TOTAL: $49,255

At $5K over, you should be paying low to mid $50Ks depending on your tax rate.

I'm just guessing at total numbers at this time I haven't seen a price list for the Options. I'm really hoping for around $58,000.00. Ordered a Vert. Shaker 1000 Charcoal and black. When I do the numbers it looks like
$45,755.00
$1,300.00
$545.00
$1,295.00
$745.00
$5,000.00
$3828.30 7% sales tax.
Total of $58,518.3 That's what i'm really looking for!!

I'm also trying to get a $1,000.00 loyalty Bonus from Ford. I've bought $200,000 in trucks over the last 6 years.

Ah...you're getting a vert. That would explain it. Your $58.5K looks about right. I thought the $62K was a bit suspect.
