Didn’t think I’d ever see 290 mi to E but it’s possible, anyone get higher? View attachment 247476
Ok that’s it turn over the keys….. we don’t have many rules around here but 290 till empty is automatically an expulsion and seizure until you can attend GT500 boot camp and learn how to apply more pressure to the right pedal 😂😂😂

Exactly Chris, What is he thinking? He must not be doing to many WOT Pulls or 50mph rolls and downshift as his right foot smashes the Fun pedal. Shame, Shame, Shame. :ROFLMAO:

And Tim gave me a lashing for 7.7 Avg miles per gallon. 19.4 is SACRALIOUS;)

I can't speak for everyone else, I don't think they are trying to get higher.

Your Homework assignment is find the meaning of WOT

When you buy a GT500 you don't ask what average miles per gallon are, you ask how many miles per hour will it go:ROFLMAO:

Personally that's what I ask, Now go out there a bring those numbers down. The goal is to beat Tim

After going through a full tank in one 20 min session at Watkins Glen I get it. These cars are routinely blasted for their thirst, and let it drink all it wants to deliver the amazing performance it does. But on a roadtrip last week to be in Mustang Stampede I wanted to see what's possible, and pleasantly surprised that 300ish could be achieved.

Freeway commutes will get you close to a 275-300 mile range no problem: Normal mode in 7th gear driving under 85mph even with spirited on and off ramps and occasional passing. You just have to mistrust your tank gauge…it’ll freak out and say you’re almost empty sooner than reality if your previous driving was aggressive.

Was in my mode which is set up basically like sport mode but with normal suspension. Resetting the average mpg allows miles to E to calculate based on higher mpg from going easy on the gas.

going easy on the gas.
I have trouble doing that. ( GOING Easy on the GAS) Even going home from Ford yesterday, after H-Pipe install, its only 5 miles from my house, I had to have one WOT Pull, to hear the singing of my exhaust and what the H-pipe sounded like.

I applaud you for being able to resist the fun pedal👏👍

Arron, depending on how you look at it. Tim, Chris, Daryl, Chad, and countless others including me. Would write it this way.

Best 138 miles to empty
Worst 218 miles to empty :ROFLMAO:
