I do a lot of business with Tire Rack, and the way they ship is this: They have multiple pieces of heavy cardboard cut to just bigger than the size of the tire. Then put 2-3 pieces on each side of the rim and they use that plastic strapping to hold it all together. Tires are inflated to proper pressure so you really cant damage the rubber in the treads. Sidewalls and both sides of the rims are protected by the cardboard. Then just slap a UPS or Fedex ground label on it and they pick it up...Hey!
I would hope they dont got dings and scratchesThis car is my baby and she is pampered. I am simply doing an upgrade to a newer rim.
I've never had to ship these before, Plastic shrink wrap perhaps?
