Changed to the Porterfield pads last weekend (very happy).

While putting my wheels/tires back on, I noticed this:

It looks like a filling defect in the mold. It is down to the cords. Dealership replaced under warranty.

No other chunks. Tire is in good shape otherwise.

It was the inner edge of the left outer rear tire on the forward side of the counterclockwise edge, and between the 2nd and 3rd ribs at the 8 o'clock position viewed from the valve stem. :jawdrop:

Actually, it is the front left (driver's side).
