Just spent a couple days at Evo and had the following done to the car.

3.73 gear
Aluminum driveshaft with front and rear loops
Steeda short throw shifter
Evo billit lower control arms
Adjustable upper control arm
Evo adjustable panhard bar brace
Eibach GT500 lowering package
Tokico adjustable shocks
GT500 high volume heat exchanger for the supercharger
Custom GT500 dyno tune

It's like a totally different car.

The car now sits the way it sould have from the factory.
The shifter is tight and firm.
The 3.73 gear should have been factory installed.
The tune is kick a##. 556 rwhp and 564 torque!

The crew at Evo was awesome! Fred, Nelson, Nelson JR., and Steve were great.

Nelson JR. and Steve did the install. They make a great team. I'm a maintenance planner by profession, and it was a pleasure to watch the two of hem work.

My car was the first to receive the extra driveshaft brace. Pics below.

So, were all hose suspension mods basically the "Evo Ultimate Lowering Package?" I've been thinking of getting that package this winter. I'd love to here what you think of it.

Yes, the Evo Ultimate Lowering Package with the Tokico adjustible shocks.

I like the ride. I was expecting a rough ride compared to stock but that was not the case. The ride is very similar to stock. The car corners better also.

I drove the car home yesterday (700 miles) and enjoyed every minute.

My advise it this mod is a definate must and well worth the money. It is a suspension that should have been factory installed.

Thanks, Cal. You just made my wife a happy lady, and made me a little poorer. ;) :D

I think the winter mod has been decided. :D

There is nothing better than a happy wife.:p  :D

You won't regret it Rich. With the hood, Evo Stage 2, Ultimate lowering kit, 3.73 gear and the steeda shifter, the car is just about perfect.:D

But we all know, the mods never end. :)

Cal,

What company maufactures the loops? They look much better than the single loop Evo initially installed.

Cal - just curious about which route you decided to take.

Joe - those DS loops are identical to the BMR loops on mine, as Fee pointed out. The only downside to the rear loop and tunnel brace is that you have to remove the factory "deflectors" under the car. The only thing I can see that those "deflectors" protect - maybe - are the gas tank straps. They are either for that, or for air deflection, but I can't see how that would be of any help.

I took 80 to 322. Thanks for the advice. The scenery was just beautiful. The trees were close to peak color. :)
