After doing my 6R80 swap I also had to go to a lower rear gear ratio since the 6R80 gears are significantly different than the TR6060.

After the first few drives I noticed a small amount of diff oil seeping out of the vent that is at the top of the diff cover, after researching I found that higher temperatures and higher torque through the diff can cause this.

I found a few companies that make them but want fully sold on their design, so being a design/research engineer by career and a fabricator/mechanic for a hobby, here is my version. If any diff oil wants to come out it'll collect and then be able to drain back into the diff.

Wanted to make it as compact as possible and directly attached to the diff cover, got some quick connect hydraulic oil fittings and milled them down.

Got the 7/16-20 bolt (the factory vent thread size/pitch) and drilled a through hole.

Added the stock diff vent to the top of my new tank.

Had to add a little tab to cradle a spot on the diff cover so it didn't spin around and move.

That's fine, I understand.
But that is a great idea and well made, Good on you !
I suppose I could give a shot at replicating it, or something very similar.

Thank you, good luck.

If you do attempt to make it and have any questions, feel free to ask.
