Instead, the group that puts on the show will hold a September event at the M1 Concourse race track.

I was there. My buddy (owns a GT350) and I drove over. Who would have known.

Was cool to see the GT500 lowered down and in person.

Unfortunate that the rest of the "show" was "tired". Many/most of the non-North American manufacturers stayed away. I guess that's why it's moving to a different style.

Usually, the car shows like the Detroit show, don't have much there to interest me. I cannot get into minivans and SUVs, or electric cars.

I have a soft spot for it because I worked the show for Lincoln Mercury back in the 80's. It was the top show in the U. S. back then. I actually hired one of car models for the dealership. She turned out to be a great salesperson. She was able to get the Lincoln buyers nodding their head to deals. One of my best hires.
