This is a super cheap mod. You'll need to order these:

They're a little chunkier than the OEM bulbs so you might need a small rat tail file to enlarge the bulb opening. Or you can pull the diffusers off - that seemed risky to me. The upper console is held on with a clip on each side. Use a plastic pry tool then unplug the wires.

The difference is astounding. These same bulbs fit the license plate lights in my Raptor and made a huge difference there, too.

Nice. I went with slightly different Samsung white LED's in mine. They conveniently also fit a number of auto applications including rear hatch and license plate lights for my C7Z, along with license plate and high-mount brake lights for my Tacoma.

Are you reading approach plates in the dark in your 2020?

I did it for Roxanne.

Pro tip... put some grease on the end of the bulb or use WD40 so you don’t end up pushing the receptacles out when inserting the bulbs requiring you to pull the housing down like I did! By the way, the housing is held up by one way barbs that are next to impossible to overcome!
