Found an '09 Blk/Wht stripes every option including nav wanted 48.6k... Got it down to 45k.. Build date 10/08 so the TSB shouldn't be an issue.. Good deal ?

I just bought my 09' Black w/Red appearance, Shaker, 48500 window for 43.7 plus tt&l. I think I got a great deal, that's why I pulled the trigger on the 09'.
Black with White is an awsome color combo, I would do it. Remember Ford has $1500 marketing allowance on their 09' GT500's.

there is an 08 at a dealer here in town with 50 miles on it. nav. blue w white stripes. never been titled. 42k.
The price you're talking about is too high.

I agree, I paid $43,100 for an '09 with 7.1 miles on her in December. This was pre $1,500 marketing allowance. I wouldn't pay more then $41,000 for one now. Especially with the 2010's out now. That's just my 2 cents, good luck with the purchase.

Good to know.. That's why I asked... I guess I'll have to play some more hard ball. Kinda wondered why they jumped on it so quick... What number do you guys think I should shoot for ?.. On a side note I hear there is a diff btwn the 07 nav and the 09 nav ?

Dealers have an additional $1500 with which to advertise the car or to use it against pricing (in other words, they have 1500 more to play with as profit/or a deduction from MSRP).

I have a basic 2009 coupe with ambient lighting and red stripe appearance package and was allowed $41,500 on trade against a 2010 and the 2010 sold to me at $2000 below sticker. We all want the prices to go super low on these cars then we wonder why when we want to sell it down the road it has not retained any value. Just my opinion.

I bought my 08 Black stripe delete in January from a ford dealer in Mich. MSRP was 47k. I paid 39,000.00 plus tax. That was before the 3k market allowance. If i would have waited, I may have gotten a few more bucks off the car. These cars have about 4k markup from invoice to msrp. So, if you're looking @ a 47k 09 Gt500, the dealers cost would be 41500.00 if you factor in the 1500 market allowance. depending how long the car has been sitting on his floorplan, some dealers will dip into the 3% holdback & take the loss rather than continue paying interest on the car. It is possible to get an 09 for 40k if you find the right dealer w/ an aged inventory. Good luck.
