I had tons of people compliment my car, even the judge was impressed. But, in the end I guess it wasn’t good enough for them.

I had a similar experience recently. I literally had the most bad ass Ford at the event and some patched together junk wagon won. I couldn’t believe it. Even the organizer was like dude how the heck?!?!

I went to some judged shows years back… it turned out to be friends of the judges that got the awards. It’s all good though… I still had a great time.

Yeah there’s definitely some nepotism in this particular club. I’ve been to a few of their shows and many of the repeat winners are members whose cars frankly aren’t that impressive. I’m not jaded by it, I get plenty of satisfaction from the crowds and all the compliments I receive.

That’s what we got all day today hundreds of people up at the car talking asking questions taking photos. It was awesome! Judges never even stopped at the car. When the MC wins a trophy I mean come on WTH 😂

Got my baby back from the detailer today. Had him polish the trunk lid and forged CFTP wing. He then installed the Archetype Racing forged carbon fiber trunk lid trim to cover the holes left over from the s-wing and added some reflective black vinyl I ordered from Bemaro Films. Finally he ceramic coated the wing, trunk lid, and trim piece and detailed the whole car for me.

The Bemaro film stuff, I have the same, I got the Shelby that reflects when light hits it, curious does yours? Either way very nice
