Hello again everyone. While it took far longer than anticipated, I finally have the Anderson CFTP Wing installed. Thanks to @nickf2005 for the shop recommendation! (all the way back on February 1st)

I had this done the “hard” way. In other words, I had metal work completed to repair the holes left by the swing, and then blend the paint with the existing paint on the trunk (using no filler/etc). I was also able to source some OEM stripes from Ford so that it matched the rest of the car. Since my car is Ford Performance Blue, finding a matching trunk in that color wasn’t in the cards. I thought about just buying a second trunk lid, and while the cost would have been similar, I didnt want the paint blended on surrounding panels to make it look right. Now for the eye candy!

Looks great. So, you were happy with Performance Collison? I still need to get my touch-ups done.

Bad ASS!

You put this in the non performance mods Jason, but you will feel this wing working. Put it up in the track setting. You will feel it push you down and stabilize you on bumpy roads and keep the rear end planted on higher speed corners.

It’s time to update your signature picture!

Yes - they did great work, were super careful with the car, talked through options, etc. The only downside is that they had my car a LONG time and weren’t always great at communicating.

I can’t want to get her back on the track! My wheels are much lighter than the stock ones I was running on my last track day. Between that and the wing I’m hoping my rear end stays more planted (nearly lost it on a turn last year).

The turns are where everyone struggles. I work with my students on weight transfer. Maintenance throttle is a good thing around turns. When you hop off the gas, weight transfers forward and the rear end unloads, which causes a loss of traction resulting a slide or spin.
