I’ve never used a booster in my cars Mike, so I don’t have an answer for you. I know octane boosters leave residue inside the engine, which I’m sure can possibly mess things up. The car runs on 91 octane, which is available everywhere as far as I know. Fortunately I live in an area where 93 octane is abundant.
I used Torco for a little while in my car to see how the 93 octane felt since there was no 93 available at the pump. I figure the same will hold true for some 2020 owners, and I just wondered if their was a booster without MMT. Or maybe race gas will have to be found w/o MMT in it.
Hey guys, Was wondering if anyone had the knowledge on whether or not the stock 13-14 complete assembly would Be a plug in play fit on my 2011 and accept the factory tune?
I am returning the car to completely stock and I found a deal on a 2013 complete intake system that is like new.
I still have a decent budget to do some additional upgrades, but am trying to figure out what I really SHOULD do now, verses 'ah, it can wait a few months'.
Some ideas include:
Kook Headers, H Pipe (or X) and a Lund (hopefully) tune
TMPS sensors added to my wheels (on that note...
I am going to put a Trinity TVS on my 09. I am undecided if I want to keep it silver, or paint it black wrinkle like a stock 07-09.
I would love to see pics of any 07-12 TVS swapped (Trinity or VMP) engine bays so I can get a better idea of how either setup would look.
Thanks guys :)
I have a 2010 GT500 with a smaller pulley, CAI and a Dyno tune. I am thinking about buying an Nguage to display the cars vitals. The question I have .... if I buy unlocked gauge, looking down the road should I buy a Lund or HP tuners. Is there an Nguage that is unlocked so I can use either in...
So I've noticed that my S/C whine is extremely subtle. I know it's a little silly to just want to change sound, but let's face it, S/C whine is an intoxicating sound. I've been doing some reading and it looks like a good CAI will help with, among other things, bringing out the whine. I've also...
